The Natural Home systems offer the best point-of-entry chemical filtration performance for homes and small businesses, effectively reducing a broad spectrum of contaminants for 5 or more years depending on source water quality. All materials are tested for product safety.
Designed for most homes with 3 or less bathrooms and standard fixtures. Produces 10 gallons per minute of filtered water, enough to operate up to 3 showers and 2 sinks simultaneously.
Designed for large homes and small businesses. Produces 30 gallons per minute of filtered water, enough to operate up to 10 showers and 3 to 5 sinks simultaneously.
An automatic backwash valve that regenerates the system every 4 days, flushing out contaminants and extending filter life. Comes pre-programmed and can easily be adjusted to meet your needs.
Stainless Steel Tank
A 304L 14 gauge stainless steel tank coated internally to add resistance to chemical pitting and corrosion.
Mediaguard with KDF 85
Patented mediaguard system uses 4 parallel chambers containing KDF 85 media. Mediaguard technology allows KDF to backwash properly with as little as 4 gpm, increasing life of the media and preventing fusing. This stage effectively breaks down chlorine and chloramines, reduces iron, hydrogen sulfide, and heavy metals, controls microorganism growth in potable water and substantially increases carbon performance and life.
Mixed Carbon
One cubic foot 70/30 mix of centaur and coconut shell activated carbon for superior reduction of chlorine, chloramines, THMs, VOCs, heavy metals, tastes and odors.
Filter Bed
(Sand, Gravel, Garnet) - The last three stages provide a stable filter bed to prevent filter media from escaping the system. Also reduces particulates, trapping sediment and other foreign debris from entering the home.
Fleck 2850 Valve
An automatic backwash valve that regenerates the system every 4 days, flushing out contaminants and extending filter life. Comes pre-programmed and can easily be adjusted to meet your needs.
Stainless Steel Tank
A 304L 14 gauge stainless steel tank coated internally to add resistance to chemical pitting and corrosion.
Mediaguard with KDF 85
Patented mediaguard system uses three mediaguard cylinders with each containing 4 parallel chambers of KDF 85 media. Mediaguard allows KDF to backwash properly with as little as 4 gpm per cylinder (12 gpm total), increasing life of the media and preventing fusing. This stage effectively breaks down chlorine and chloramines, reduces iron, hydrogen sulfide, and heavy metals, controls microorganism growth in potable water and substantially increases carbon performance and life.
Mixed Carbon
Two and a half cubic feet 70/30 mix of centaur and coconut shell activated carbon for superior reduction of chlorine, chloramines, THMs, VOCs, heavy metals, tastes and odors.
Filter Bed
(Sand, Gravel, Garnet) - The last three stages provide a stable filter bed to prevent filter media from escaping the system. Also reduces particulates, trapping sediment and other foreign debris from entering the home.

The MG-10 is recommended for 0.5 to 1 inch main plumbing lines and and the MG-30 is recommended for 1 to 1.5 inch main lines. If you don't know the size of your main plumbing line, a simple way to determine which home system you need is to look at your peak water usage in the home. We have included a reference chart below that will help you estimate your peak usage. The values below are for standard fixtures; specialty fixtures may use significantly more water.
Standard Fixture Usage (gpm = gallons per minute):
Sink: 1.5 - 2 gpm
Shower: 2 - 2.5 gpm
Tub: 3.5 - 4 gpm
Dishwasher: 3.5 gpm
Washing Machine: 4 gpm
If your peak water usage is 2 showers, a washing machine, and a sink, the Natural Home MG-10 is recommended. If you expect to use more fixtures simultaneously, or if you have high flow specialty fixtures we recommend the larger Natural Home MG-30. Please contact us if you want help determining which model you need.
How do I test my system for performance?
The best way to test your home system performance is through a Chlorine test since it should always be present in your city water. After your system has been installed for five years we recommend that you test the system for chlorine reduction performance at least once a year. You can pick up 50 test strips from
Amazon, Lowes, or Home Depot for about $10-15.
Optional: If you do not know what type of disinfectant your local water supplier uses you can contact them to find out. The most common disinfectant is Chlorine, but some cities use combined Chloramines. Your test strip should have both Free and Total Chlorine indicators; Total Chlorine measures Chloramines, while Free Chlorine tests strictly for Chlorine.
Locate an unfiltered spigot.
Turn on the unfiltered spigot and run the water for 30 seconds.
Take a water sample from the unfiltered spigot and analyze it with your test strips.
The result should be between 0.5 and 2 ppm (Chlorine) or 0.5 and 4 ppm (Chloramines).
Locate a filtered spigot inside your home.
Turn on the cold water and run for 30 seconds.
Take a water sample from the filtered spigot and analyze it with your test strips.
The result should be no Chlorine present.
How do I know when it is time to service my system?
If your system fails to reduce chlorine effectively or if you have a taste or odor issue it may be time to have your system serviced. We recommend servicing your unit at least every 10 years regardless of system performance.
How much does it cost to service my system?
The current cost below includes a new or refurbished tank, with new internal components and media and a new piston and seal kit for your control valve. The control valve service and tank swap can be performed by most customers or by a licensed plumber. We offer courtesy phone support to walk you or your plumber through the service.
